Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy explains how the FeedbackMosaic website, FeedbackMosaic — Comment & Review Exporter, the local Runner, support email, and optional anonymous technical diagnostics handle data.

FeedbackMosaic is operated by Binfeng Lu, an individual independent developer based in China. Send privacy requests to privacy@feedbackmosaic.com and product support requests to support@feedbackmosaic.com.

2. Local feedback data

At your direction, the extension and local Runner may process comments, replies, displayed authors, engagement fields, source URLs, and export files from public pages. This content is saved locally by default. FeedbackMosaic does not ask you to upload login cookies or account credentials.

3. Optional technical diagnostics

Diagnostics remain off until a valid public endpoint and this policy are available and you give explicit consent. Allowed fields are limited to a random installation ID, event ID and time, platform, extension and adapter versions, locale, requested and actual counts, main and reply counts, reply setting, duration, controlled result and stop fields, coarse activity-count buckets, and a selected feature category.

Diagnostics never include comment text, replies, authors, usernames, full URLs or URL hashes, page titles, search terms, cookies, credentials, DOM, HTML, screenshots, export files, response bodies, or raw error objects. Product analytics tables do not store IP addresses.

4. Consent and withdrawal

You can decline or turn off diagnostics without losing extraction, local storage, downloads, or history. Turning diagnostics off stops new diagnostic events. A future cloud product would need separate disclosure and consent.

5. Website data

The website does not use advertising trackers, third-party behavioral analytics, or marketing cookies. Essential hosting and security systems may process your IP address and basic request details to deliver and protect the site.

6. Support email

If you contact support@feedbackmosaic.com, Zoho Mail processes your message, sender address, and any information you include so that support can respond. Do not send cookies, passwords, tokens, or unrelated private content.

7. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the website, optional diagnostics, and support email. At launch, these include Cloudflare for hosting, security, and opt-in diagnostics, and Zoho Mail for support email. They receive only the information needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.

8. Retention

Raw opt-in technical events containing a random installation ID are retained for no more than 90 days. Daily aggregates without installation ID are retained for no more than 12 months. Full-IP security logs, if operationally required, are kept separate and for no more than 7 days. Support messages are retained only as long as needed for support, security, legal, and operational records.

9. Security and access

Telemetry uses HTTPS, strict field validation, duplicate-event protection, request size limits, and access-protected administration. Secrets are not stored in the public website or committed to the source repository.

10. Your privacy choices

You can disable diagnostics at any time. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we control, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification. Contact privacy@feedbackmosaic.com. We will respond according to the rights that apply to your request.

11. Children

FeedbackMosaic is a product research tool for businesses and product teams. It is not directed to children.

12. Changes

Material changes to diagnostic fields, purposes, providers, or retention will be reflected here and may require renewed consent.
